2012-2014 – I worked as the UBC Nest Sustainability Coordinator that was in the design and construction phase, securing over $120,000 in funds to develop 13 multi-stakeholder and community led projects. This included a rooftop garden, sustainability artwork, the AMS Sustainability Center, biodigester, digital waste management, and other waste and energy reduction initiatives. For these projects, I collaborated with existing programs and resources, actively sought partnerships, developed research to support new ideas, sought sustainable financial sources and built strategies for continued operations and maintenance
In 2014, I also conducted an independent research project that proposed a redesign for the building management system's public facing dashboard, integrating multiple organizational initiatives into a social change tool.
